About us: We are a well established, registered Irish company which specialise in calving cameras, foaling cameras & yard security. We supply systems nationwide and provide next day delivery via registered post on all systems. We will also have our systems available from co op stores in Donegal & Sligo from the start of next month. We also provide instillation and support on all system nationwide. We are the largest provider of calving cameras in Ireland and receive over 150 phone calls per week plus emails. We also provide systems to the trade. Most our systems are sold diy, but we can arrange instillation on all systems around the county by passing on the jobs to trade customers who regularly purchase off us. We are Vat registered and all our prices include vat and a full vat receipt is issued with each and every purchase. We mainly sell to Ireland but regularly supply to UK, and lately USA. We offer discounts on purchases of more then one system to anyone and also provide complete packages or individual products to the trade.
Our website: Our website is www.equicom.ie and we currently receive over 1500 visitors (12500 hits) per week. This website has most of our systems listed on it, however we are able to make up any camera system people require and are pretty confident we can beat any quote around. Our website is updated on average 2 – 3 times per week and includes a fully functional on-line shop which allows people to purchase our items on line. All the camera systems included on our website have ample information on the system as a whole and also technical information on each camera or item in the package. You can also build your own package on line and the calving camera systems on our site have the options to be wired or wireless, you can choose the distance you want the transmitter to cover and also if you want to have a system with or without sound.
We also have the website www.calvingcameras.com which will be completed by the end of this month and will have an on-line forum for the Irish farming community where they can post question for others to answer, or post information, tips & advice on calving cameras and calving in general which should help others and pass on the knowledge on the calving industry.
Our systems: We offer wired and wireless calving camera system which can have between 1 and 8 cameras per system. Our cameras are purpose built for calving and include Sony lens’s. Our cameras are waterproof, dust proof, IP66 rated, and include colour vision and infra-red night vision which means you can view up to 20 meters in total darkness at night. Also as the cameras are purpose built for calving they can be mounted from the top or the bottom. Each camera is designed to view a calving bay of about 3 meters by 5 meters. All our system are fully tested before being shipped out and include all items needed, including fittings, fixtures, cable, power adaptors and even the screws to connect the camera to the walls, complete instruction and a full 12 month warranty.
